Q: What do I need to bring to class?
A: Yoga mats will be available for you to use, however you may want to bring your own if you have one.
Q: What should I wear to yoga class?
A: You should wear comfortable clothes that allow you to have free range of motion. Consider wearing shorts, leggings or yoga pants and a semi-fitted top. We will be building heat within the body so wearing layers is always a good idea. During our savasana (final relaxation) you may want to put on a long sleeve shirt or a pair of socks. We will also be in bare feet during our practice!
Q: What do I need to be able to do the first class?
A: Sandstone yoga focuses on teaching yoga to EVERYBODY so there are absolutely no requirements. You do NOT need to be flexible nor do you need a certain amount of muscle strength. Yoga will help to increase your flexibility and strength over time. Please inform Lori of any physical concerns that you may have so that she can offer modifications specific to your needs to ensure a safe and effective practice for EVERYONE!
