CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

All classes are open to anybody and all!

Mixed Level: These classes are for anybody of any age, shape, or size who would like to experience all of the benefits of a yoga practice.  Flexibility is NOT required.  We will build heat in the body through sun salutations and standing poses allowing our bodies increased flexibility for deeper stretches.  Each class will end in savasana which is a time for deep relaxation.  In this class we work on increasing flexibility by strengthening and lengthening the muscles as well as work on balancing postures.  Modifications are offered for those new to yoga or for individuals taking care of specific body parts.  Full options for poses are also introduced for those ready to take their yoga practice further.  Basic breathing techniques are also taught in this class.

Gentle Yoga: These classes are for anybody of any age, shape, or size but are particularly designed for those new to yoga or for practitioners wanting a slower paced class.  We will learn basic breathing techniques and postures allowing us to increase flexibility and muscle strength.  Gentle yoga is a restorative class renewing mind, body and spirit!
